I know alot of magic is fake but you still have to have Damn lotta talent to move all slick and shit!! I give props to them.

  6. neomp5 says:

the thing that i respect most about penn and teller is that they DISrespect those who treat illusions as reality. so no, we shouldn’t respect you.

  7. fenster666 says:

Why, i’m atheist and I don’t garnish any respect from it, why should they, because they’re celebrities? the should get respect because they are brilliantly skilled performers, not because of there religious views.

  8. Arthur5041975 says:

I love Teller, but Penn can be a twat. Atheism rocks!

  9. yogloopwned says:

yea these guys are really good, their tricks are baffling

anyone think that the earlier version of penn looks like peter griffin?

  10. Haddock420 says:

Not the easiest way to light a cigarette.

  11. Haddock420 says:

You respect them for standing up for their beliefs, but deep down you don’t agree with them, you believe they’re wrong. It’s hard to respect something you don’t believe to be true.

Respect is something that has to be earned anyway. I wouldn’t respect or disrespect anybody for being a certain religion, religion’s a personal thing and really shouldn’t impact on your opinion of somebody.

Anyway, I can’t remember what my point was, it’s in there somewhere though.

  12. FruitpunchFTW says:

    These guys are ridiculously FANTASTIC!

  13. SirWolfgaar says:

    Enka22,

Does that mean we don’t have to respect you because you’re a moron?

  14. fdesa12 says:

I agree with TrevortheFox. You respect their religion by respecting who they are. And respecting people for who they are includes their personality, ideals, and beliefs.

My usual point of view that I follow is “mind your own business”. Why care about what religion others follow? I’ll care when it starts to make me feel uncomfortable or attack me mentally and physically at the least.

  15. FatherTime89 says:

I saw this live only Penn was playing one of those big base violin things that looks like a cello (forget the name)

  16. AlmightyFRACTA says:

whatever. you cant light a cigarette with a flashlight

  17. TehSmexican says:

    A bass?

  18. WakoGeek says:

I love Penn and Teller but it was obviously a flashlight cause yo can see it glowing in his cheek

  19. Chocaholic76 says:

    double bass

  20. ericli51 says:

Magicians themselves are not the envoy of the supernatural.

They are merely the practitioners of artistic deceit.

  21. Zk8er35 says:

Simple trick yet so stupefying. Mad props to Penn Jilette and Teller.

  22. SmaIIfry says:

I saw them in Vegas. Saw the same trick with the explanation

  23. masteridiot123 says:

Did you know back when they started doing this kind of gig, they got threats of bodily harm from the magician community because they kept showing just how they did it. The thing is, people still don’t understand it, even if they explained it in the greatest detail possible and showing you how they did it.

The mind is truly a remarkable thing, isn’t it?

  24. ciucinciu says:

    they have a jazz band

  25. mandotines9 says:

I still can’t do that. that was the worst tutorial ever. jk
